Process Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

To optimize refinery performance by application of engineering principle and to fulfil process engineering responsibilities for the refinery for specific operating units or area as assigned, also to assist and support supervisor in day process engineering related activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Observe process units to ensure maximum production and profit by daily process and operation conditions adjustments as per lab results.

• Monitor the process data, and make daily units tours, for safety, possible optimization, and increase profits by applying process engineering techniques.

• Monitor chemicals and utilities consumption and control.

• Conduct process studies and test runs as assigned for operations and maintenance support and long-term performance to provide improvements.

• Troubleshoot unit operation and check the equipment performance to provide recommendations.

• Support operation during shutdown and start-up activities of the units.

• Review and issue new modification proposals for refinery process improvement.

• Follow- up the specifications of the by-product steams and COAs, and conduct sampling and field work as assigned.

Education:

• BSC in Chemical Engineering

Knowledge and Experience:

• 0-2 years of Refinery Experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of Refinery production operation and processes.
• Strong knowledge of process operation and process design.
• Good Interpersonal Communication Skills.
• Good knowledge of Refinery production operation and processes.
